He enrolled in doctoral studies in September 2007 at South East European University in Tetovo, Macedonia. He gained his doctoral degree in Computer Science with the thesis entitled “Algorithms of Several Mathematical Models and their Implementation in Cryptosystems” in May 2010. From 2003, is employed in South East European University, first at the Computer Center and from 2004 at the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, SEEU. He obtained the Assistant Professor title in 2010 and the Associate Professor title in 2015 and the Full Professor title in 2020. Has been in scientific conferences and professional meetings of international character. He has published over 45 scientific articles in the conference and over 17 scientific articles in journals as well as three university books. His work is cited in over 70 articles published in international journals and conferences, as some citations in journals with impact factor. Conference papers and journals papers are published in Clarivate Analytics – Developing Resources Index, EBSCOHost, Scopus, IEEE and ACM. The publications are in fields of Computer System Security, Computer Security, Information Security, Information Systems Security, Cloud Security, Security, Cryptography, Algorithms. He also contributed in organizing and mentoring students for competitions such as the NASA Space Apps Challenge. He has also participated in over 15 scientific projects of international character.

He has been an Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia for Higher Education, Science and ICT. He was engaged as expert in EU project as consultant in education reform. He showed outstanding results and produced valuable outcomes for the academic community and its perspectives. He has excellent experience in drafting national strategic, policy and framework documents. In 2015-2016 He was a member of the strategic planning committee of ICT strategy and action plan of the Republic of North Macedonia. In 2016 he was a member of Comprehensive Education Strategy and Action plan for 2016-2020 and lead ICT working group. In 2015-2016 He was engaged as expert in EU project IncoNET EaP S&T Policy Mix Peer Review for Armenian Higher Education System. He showed outstanding results and produced valuable outcomes for the academic community and its perspectives.

In 2011. She gained her Master’s degree at the Institute of Economics in Skopje (University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius“), in the field of “Entrepreneurship“. She has participated in the implementation of many projects related to the development and promotion of education, education of young people and adults, human rights, democracy, mentoring, inter-culturalism, inter-ethnic integration, entrepreneurship and civil activism.

More than a decade of experience in internal audit, in establishing the internal audit function, formulating and establishing internal audit methodologies in accordance with international standards and best internal audit practices. Trainer authorized by IIA Global and trainer certified by CIPFA for the Basics of Internal Audit, Leadership and Control and Management of organizations. His experience as a trainer is mainly related to the training of internal auditors, finance and accounting specialists on topics such as the basics of internal audit, international standards for the practice of internal audit, fraud and risk management.

In 2007 he started working as budget officer at South East European University where later he had an upgrade as a CFO. In the present he still is Leader and Director of Finance Office. In his career path he also has worked as Payroll officer at Ecolog International Tetovo responsible for salary calculation of the Ecolog – International’s stuff engaged in Tetovo. Since 2011 Nebi Xhemali is member of Investment board on KB Publikum Invest.

In 2005 he earned his MBA degree from the Bled School of Management in Slovenia. From 2008 he has been active in research, too, in the field of change management. He obtained the PhD degree from the Faculty of business and economics at SEE University in 2015. Mr. Memedi started his career as a teacher of English in 1995. In 1996 he joined the University of Tetovo first as a lecturer of English literature and later as the manager of the department of English language and literature. Concurrently he taught at the high school of economics/business where he also chaired the Board of the school. He left the business school in late 1998 for a short time, during the crisis in the region to work for the mission of the United Nations in Macedonia and in 1999 he managed the local office of the International Republican Institute in Tetovo. In 2001 he joined a small but highly committed team of internationals and local staff to found the new SEE University in October of the same year. Ever since, he has been working at SEE University, performing various duties, first as Director of the Human Resources Department and afterward as the Deputy Secretary General. His current position as Secretary-General of SEE University, Mr. Memedi took up in 2004.
