RE-ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CALL FOR EXPERT/LECTURER IN THE FIELD OF STRESS MANAGEMENT (application deadline 10.01.2021)

iCAN is looking to engage  one expert/lecturer in the field of Stress Management to lecture in a 5-day course on Stress Management.

Applicants will need to provide to iCAN the syllabus of the course and implementation plan that will articulate the overall ToR requirements including the proposed methodology, clear timeline and process sharing.

Methodology and field of action

The Lecturer is expected to:

Create the methodology and dynamics for Stress Management course; teach participants how to cope with stressful situations in life, teaching on how people can use these skills on workplace and everyday life.

Expected results:

Teaching students stress management techniques,

After the course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the different types of stress;
  • Understand the different types of relief strategies;
  • Be stress-free and support someone with stress issues.

The lecturer will be responsible for the organization and delivery of high quality teaching material and assessment of participants’ performance various students’ audiences, including unemployed people and companies.

Advice and support for students and companies during the course

Final report on the implementation of processes after the end of the lecturing process.

Requirements for Mentors experience and skills:

M.A. or M.S. (Ph.D. strongly preferred) in a field appropriate to the course. Experience teaching practice-oriented courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Academic experience (at least 5 years) and applied experience related to Stress Management.

Theoretical and applied experience related to ecosystems for innovation and startups;

Ability to work independently and in situations with tight dynamics and tight deadlines;

Excellent interpersonal communication and consulting skills.
